Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation wire and a cable capable of realizing excellent dielectric characteristics in a GHz band and heat aging resistance.SOLUTION: An insulation wire 5 including a conductor 1 and an insulator layer 2 coating the conductor 1 is characterized in that the insulator layer 2 includes a propylene copolymer obtained by a synthesis using a metallocene catalyst, and an antioxidant having a chemical structure different from a hindered phenol structure, and the antioxidant is blended at a ratio of 0.01 or more to less than 1.5 parts by mass to 100 parts by mass of the propylene copolymer.
