Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the effectiveness of a heater for an compartment and acceleration of warming up by enhancing an effective utilization factor of heat not utilized as work out of heat produced from a vehicular engine.
SOLUTION: In an intake air temperature control device A for a vehicular engine, which improves acceleration of warming up and the performance of a heater H for an interior by using as heat for warming the cooling water of a vehicular engine 7, heat not utilized actually as work out of heat that the vehicular engine 7 produces, an engine room inside air introducing pipe 29 extended by being branched from an intake air passage 28, is arranged in a dead space located upper than an engine arrangement part out of engine rooms 5 in which the vehicular engine 7 is mounted, an opening/closing control device 38 which increases the opening of a connecting opening 33 when outside air temperature is low is arranged in the connecting opening 33 through which these engine room inside air introducing pipe 29 and intake passage 28 are connected to each other, and the free end side opening 29b1 of the engine room inside air introducing pipe 29 is directed to the rear of a vehicle.
