Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lengthen an intake pipe while downsizing an intake system of a motor cycle.SOLUTION: An intake system 5 of a motor cycle 1, which has a side cam chain type parallel multi-cylinder engine, comprises an air cleaner 51 arranged above an engine unit 3, a throttle body 53 controlling a flow rate of air for combustion, an intake pipe 52 connecting the air cleaner 51 with the throttle body 53, and an intake manifold 54 distributing the air for combustion to a plurality of combustion chambers 301. The throttle body 53 and the intake manifold 54 are arranged above a crankcase assembly 32 and behind a cylinder assembly 31. The throttle body 53 is arranged at a position, which is deflected to a cam chain chamber 304 side with respect to a vehicle width direction, and behind and obliquely below an intake port 302 of the combustion chamber 301 closest to the cam chain chamber 304.
