Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an integrated circuit for driving thermal head wherein parts can be in common by mounting a thermal head driving integrated circuit having the same terminal-shape even with a thermal head having different density of picture element.
CONSTITUTION: An integrated circuit for driving thermal head comprises a shift register of plurality of bits consisting of master flip-flops A1-An and slave flip-flops B1-Bn, a plurality of latches L1-Ln, a plurality of NAND gates G1-Gn, a plurality of inverters E1-En, a plurality of driving elements T1-Tn, a first switch SWa, and a second switch SWb.
