The interactive device extracts a plurality of emotions from the image of the face, uttered voice, physiological information and language information obtained from a user. If an abnormality is found in the extracted emotions or physiological information, the user, a server, and a health management institution are informed of the detected abnormality; and if the calculated psychological state of the user is not psychologically desirable, such a response as to soften the psychological state is returned. As the interactive device has the functions mentioned above, the face-to-face natural language interactive communication and the abnormality detection function on both mental and physical phases can be achieved.
