PURPOSE: To carry out an examination preparing operation quickly and efficiently when a variety of objective lens is changed by indicating the range of a radius of curvature, which can be examined by a mounted reference lens, of the objective lens in an indicating window of the main body.
CONSTITUTION: A winding drum 21 is mounted on the lower face of a top plate part 2a of a main body casing 2, and the direction of an indicating strip 20 is converted to the vertical direction by a guide roller 22 so that its point end part is connected to an interferometer main body 1. Transparent glass 24, to which an indicating needle is installed, is provided in the indicating window 23. The interferometer main body 1 is arranged in the position where the indicating needle shows the radius of curvature value of an objective face of the objective lens 5 in the scale of the indicating strip 20, so that the lens 5 can be examined. In this way, determination whether the lens 5 to be examined can be examined by the reference lens installed in the interferometer main body 1 at this time or not is carried out extremely easily and quickly.
