Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an interferon-α/β binding protein, its mutein and fused protein thereof, their salts, functional derivatives and active fractions, to provide a method for producing the protein, and to provide DNA molecule encoding the protein, an expression medium containing the DNA molecule, a host cell transformed by the medium, a recombinants of the protein and a medicinal composition containing the protein.
SOLUTION: The new soluble IFN-α/β binding protein, a method for producing the same and the medicinal composition containing the protein are provided, The protein is useful for prevention and treatment and diagnosis of diseases accompanied with an existing state of an excess amount of IFN-α or IFN-β.
