Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member forming a spandrel wall, including a partition rail capable of easily mounting a handrail for an aged person as well as spandrel wall structure making use thereof.
SOLUTION: A baseboard 5a is mounted to a boundary between an interior wall 8 and an underfloor surface thereof, a wall panel 4 is mounted on an upper wall surface thereof, and the upper end thereof is covered with an uneven step 3a formed in the lower end section of a partition rail 3. The partition rail 3 is firmly fixed to a wall auxiliary member 9 provided to the rear side. A facing plate 6 is stuck on the front of the partition rail to promote an indoor design. The partition rail can be mounted to a handrail for an aged person, and in the case the handrail is required, it is easily diverted to a house for the aged person.
