PURPOSE: To obtain an intermediate film for a safety laminated glass having excellent antipiercing strength, good adhesive strength and improved moisture resistance by incorporating an epoxy group-contg. PVC resin and an N- acylalkyleneimine-based polymer or its partially saponified material into the film.

CONSTITUTION: An epoxy group-contg. PVC resin and an N-acylalkylenerimine- based polymer or its partially saponified material are dispersed in a plasticizer, etc. The dispersion is directly cast over a glass sheet or through releasable paper as a plastisol or organosol and heated to obtain the desired intermediate film for a safety laminated glass. A copolymer of vinyl chloride, a monomer having an epoxy group and a monomer having an optional composition and copolymerizable with the monomers is exemplified as the epoxy group-contg. PVC resin. The polymerization degree of the PVC-based resin in this case is preferably controlled to 600-3000. The N-acylalkyleneimine-based polymer or its partially saponified material contains a repeating unit shown by formula at least in the amt. corresponding to ≥20wt.% of the polymer, and its weight average mol.wt. is controlled to 30,000-1,000,000.
