Abstract:
To prevent an increase in vibration during idle operation in a low-temperature environment.
An ECU 300 for controlling an engine 160 counts a stop time TIM of the engine 160 in a low-temperature environment. If the stop time TIM is shorter than a predetermined reference value, the ECU 300 sets idle speed immediately after start of operation of the engine 160 to a first idle speed, and if the stop time TIM is longer than the reference value, sets the idle speed to a second idle speed higher than the first idle speed after the passage of predetermined duration from the start of the engine 160.
