To provide a desired driving state in an internal combustion engine by providing desired air-fuel ratio in a mixture fed to a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine body, regardless of the generation of vaporized fuel gas in a fuel tank or the like, so as to allow feeding of auxiliary air to the combustion chamber through a bypass passage and a control valve during driving of the internal combustion engine.
The internal combustion engine 10 is provided with the internal combustion engine body 10a, a cowling 12 covering the internal combustion engine body 10a, intake passages 25 and 35 working the internal space of the cowling 12 communicate with the combustion chamber 24 in an interior of a cylinder 20 of the internal combustion engine body 10a, a throttle valve 37 for freely adjusting openings of the intake passages 25 and 35, the bypass passage 46 with a one end part being communicating with the intake passages 25 and 35 on the downstream side from the throttle valve 37, and the control valve 47 closing the bypass passage 46, so as to be freely openable and closable. The internal space of the cowling 12 communicates with another end of the bypass passage 46.
