PURPOSE: To perfectly bond a lining tube to the inside surface of a pipe by inserting said tube into the pipe, then inserting an expanding tube into this tube and expanding the free end of the lining tube outward of the diameteral direction by this expanding tube.
CONSTITUTION: Adhesive agents are coated on the inside surface of a lining tube 5 and this tube 5 is turned over and the turned over portion 9 is inserted and contacted into the pipe 2 to be lined under fluid pressure. Next, the end part of an expanding tube 17 longer than this tube 5 is provided to the fixing position on the opening end side of the pipe 2 and this expanding tube 17 is turned over. The turned over portion 17b is then advanced by fluid pressure from the opening end side of the pipe 2 into the abovementioned lining tube 5 to expand the free end 5a of the lining tube 5 outward in the radial direction and perfectly bond this free end 5a to the inside surface of the pipe 2. After this expansion, the expanding tube 17 is taken out from the lining tube 5.
