Title:
INTERNAL PRESSURE SENSOR MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF FUEL TANK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3190469
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form an internal pressure sensor mounting structure in a compact manner by mounting an internal pressure sensor to measure the internal pressure of a fuel tank on an internal pressure sensor mounting seat arranged on a mounting plate.
CONSTITUTION: An internal pressure sensor mounting seat 41 is arranged to a mounting plate 21 by means of which a fuel meter unit to measure an amount of fuel in a fuel tank is mounted on a fuel tank. An internal pressure sensor 40 to measure the internal pressure of the fuel tank is mounted on the internal pressure sensor mounting seat 41. A shield plate 50 to prevent the sensing part 40b of the internal pressure sensor 40 from being splashed with fuel is arranged on the under surface of the mounting plate 21. The sensing part 40b of the internal pressure sensor 40 is mounted in a watertight manner on the internal pressure sensor mounting seat 41 through a sealant 52, such as an O-ring. A coupling hose for an internal pressure sensor and a bracket are eliminated and there is no need to mount a special pipe on a fuel tank 2. This constitution can attempt formation of an internal sensor mounting structure in a compact size.
