Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internet camera for transferring an image photographed according to a prescribed schedule to a file server over the internet, capable of reading the picture in an arbitrary timing, and reducing the communicating costs to an absolute necessary level. SOLUTION: This internet camera is provided with a storage means in which data are preserved, an image processing means for converting the image photographed by an imaging means into a image file, and for preserving it in the storage means, an modem capable of transmitting and incoming a call, a remote access server for conducting user authentication to an external computer, and a second file server capable of transmitting the picture file to the external computer, when the user authentication of the remote access server is successful.
