PURPOSE: To obtain a diagnosticum for cancer and tumor, having high accuracy and efficiency, containing a dyestuff for fluorescent labeling of phthalocyanine further condensed with 4 benzene rings, not being influenced by various spectrum disturbing factors.
CONSTITUTION: A dyestuff for fluorescent labeling shown by the formula {M is H2, Al, Si, P, Ga, Ge, Cd, Sc, Mg, Sn or Zn; R1 to R4 are XQW, QW, W or H [X is O, N, S, P, Si, Se or CR5R6 (R5 and R6 are H, alkyl, aryl, etc.) or phenylene; Q is bond group; W is OH, O-, SH, S-, CO2H, CO2-, PO3-, SO3-, NH2, etc.]; k, l, m and n are 0-4; Y is halogen, OR13 or NR214 (R13 and R14 are H, alkyl, acyl, silyl or P-containing group); p is 0-2; Z1 to Z8 are CH or N}, such as sodium sulfonate of chloroaluminum phthalocyanine. The dyestuff is bonded to a substance derived from an organism to be selectively linked to a tumor cell and used. An inexpensive small-sized semiconductor layer can be used.
