ＩＶフィルタが本明細書に記載される。ＩＶフィルタは、フィルタ・ハウジングと、濾材と、フィルタ・チャネルと、プライミング・チャネルと、円盤弁とを含む。フィルタ・ハウジングは、入口及び出口を画定する。濾材は、フィルタ・ハウジング内に配置される。フィルタ・チャネルは、フィルタ・ハウジング内に配置される。フィルタ・チャネルは、入口及び濾材と流体連通し、濾材は、フィルタ・チャネルから出口への流れを可能にし、流れから微粒子を捕捉する。プライミング・チャネルは、フィルタ・ハウジング内に配置される。プライミング・チャネルは、入口及び出口と流体連通する。円盤弁は、フィルタ・ハウジングへ結合される。円盤弁は、第１の位置において入口からプライミング・チャネルへ流れを方向づけるように、及び第２の位置において入口からフィルタ・チャネルへ流れを方向づけるように動かすことができる。
