Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent effectively a dip treating material from being deformed by the effect of a negative pressure in the stage of emerging from a treating vessel by providing means for inclining the treating material within the plane intersecting orthogonally with the conveying direction thereof in the stage of emerging from the vessel. CONSTITUTION:When a car body 9 suspended from a conveyor rail 15 by means of a hanger 13 is pulled from an electrodepositing liquid 10 in the outlet part of an electrodepositing vessel 11, a negative pressure acts on the recess 12a at the top end in the front part of a roof panel 12. A retaining member 26 extended downward from a frame 20 contacts with the shoulder part 13b of the hanger 13 in this stage and when the hanger 13 is transferred upward, the hanger tilts by oscillating around the fulcrum shaft 24. Therefore the body 9 supported to the hanger 13 inclines as well and emerges above the liquid surface 10a from the shoulder 12b of the panel 12. Air intrudes early into the recess 12a through an opening 9a for a door window below the panel 12. The action of the negative pressure in the recess 12a is thus obviated.
