PURPOSE:To prevent deformation of a dip treating material owing to a negative pressure by attaching an air introducing pipe and an oscillating arm having a float to the treating material, and opening the introducing pipe by the oscillation of the oscillating arm in the stage of emerging from a vessel thereby introducing air into the treating material. CONSTITUTION:When a roof panel 12 is gradually pulled from an electrodepositing liquid 10 in the stage of emerging from a treating vessel, a negative pressure begins to act in the recess 12a of a panel 12. A float 40 moves downward in this stage owing to a relative decrease in the liquid surface 10a. Then an oscillating arm 34 oscillates downward around fulcrum shaft 42 and the contact piece 34a provided on the bottom surface of the arm 34 contacts with the projection 22a of a valve disc 22, thereby depressing the disc 22 against the energizing force of a spring 24. The air flow port of a valve box 20 is then opened to introduce air through an air introducing pipe 14 into the recess 12a of the panel 12. The action of the negative pressure in the recess 12a in the stage of emerging from the vessel is thus obviated and the deformation of the panel 12 is prevented.
