Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain rectilinear stability even when a motor has single winding so as to reduce the cost.SOLUTION: An inverted two-wheeled vehicle includes a first motor and a second motor with single winding which rotate two wheels, and a first control system and a second control system which supply driving currents to the first motor and second motor, and inhibits the first control system from supplying the driving current to the first motor when abnormality of the first control system is detected. The inverted two-wheeled vehicle includes a sensor which detects a physical quantity varying according to a turning action of the inverted two-wheeled vehicle, a dynamic brake unit which makes dynamic braking on the first motor effective/ineffective, and a control part which makes the dynamic braking effective when it is determined that the inverted two-wheeled vehicle is in the turning action mainly by the second motor side based upon the physical quantity detected by the sensor while the supply of the driving current from the first control system to the first motor is inhibited.
