Abstract:
To provide a device and method for executing an IoT security service directed to device security in an IoT environment on a computing device.SOLUTION: A process for ensuring IoT security in an IoT environment is provided, the process comprising: storing a set of security rules associated with an expected condition of at least one IoT device; receiving IoT data associated with the at least one IoT device, the IoT data being aggregated data including at least two different types of data; making a determination, based on the IoT data, as to whether the set of security rules has been violated or not; and selectively sending an alert based on the determination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
