PURPOSE: To miniaturize a charge-eliminating apparatus equipped with a dust sucking mechanism and to efficiently perform the dust extraction of a minute area and the dust extraction in a container having a small opening part and to extend a maintenance period.
CONSTITUTION: A charge-eliminating apparatus is equipped with a discharge electrode 2, an earth electrode 3, an air jet mechanism and a dust sucking mechanism, and ions produced by the corona discharge caused between the discharge electrode 2 and the earth electrode 3 are sprayed on an object 28 by the air ejected from the air jet mechanism to eliminate the charge of the object 28 and the dust removed from the object 28 is sucked and removed by the dust sucking mechanism. The discharge electrode 2 is constituted by a hollow electric good conductor and the earth electrode 3 is constituted of the hollow electric good conductor arranged around the discharge electrode 2 and the jet air passage 18 of the air jet mechanism having an air jet orifice 19 made in the leading end part thereof is formed in the discharge electrode 2 and the suction passage 24 of the dust sucking mechanism having a suction port 25 made in the leading end part thereof is formed between the discharge electrode 2 and the earth electrode 3.
