To provide a jamb for an elevator landing in which reinforcement members can be commonized even in case of vertical frame members and upper frame members being different in form to realize reduction of a construction period and decrease of manufacturing cost, and in which size errors of the vertical frame members and upper frame members can be absorbed in the reinforcement members to achieve sufficient reinforcement strength.
The reinforcement member 10 is composed in such a structure that a first member and a second member are connected to each other as they are partly overlapped with each other. By changing overlapping length of the first member and the second member with each other, size as a whole body can be adjusted. After the reinforcement member 10 is adjusted in such a way that its size corresponds to inner diameter size between installation pieces 5a and 5b provided to stand from both width end parts of the vertical frame member 2, it is installed between the installation pieces 5a and 5b.
