Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a twist from being generated in a flange part due to excess metal, by providing a projecting joggle on the flange part of a center member, and providing a joggle of the recessed direction on a part being adjacent to this joggle.
CONSTITUTION: On a flange part 8 of a center member 1 being a floor member of a car body of an automobile, etc., first of all, a projecting joggle 10 is provided by a drawing process. Subsequently, this joggle 10 is left as it is, and on a part between the joggles 10, another joggle 11 is provided in the direction opposite to the joggle 10 by a pushing process. In such a way, it is prevented that a twist is generated in the flange part 8 due to excess metal.
