Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and highly accurate block body by setting the axial direction of two block stocks to be at the prescribed angle, bringing surfaces of the block stocks into contact with each other through an amorphous foil, and heating and joining the block stocks in the vacuum under pressure, and then, cooling them.
SOLUTION: Back sides of two block stocks 11, 12 are stacked on each other with an amorphous foil 13 interposed therebetween to form a block body 10 so that groove parts 11a, 12a on the face side are orthogonal to each other. Because the block bodies 11, 12 are cubes of the same shape, and each side of the block body 10 is fit to each other. The block body 10 is stored in a hollow part of a frame to which a lower lid is fixed, and an upper lid is fixed. Contact faces of the upper and lower block stocks 11, 12 are pressed against each other with the prescribed pressure, and charged in a vacuum heating furnace, the pressure in the furnace is reduced to the prescribed degree of vacuum, and heated and kept for the prescribed time. The amorphous foil is diffused to join two block stocks 11, 12, and the joined block body 10 can be easily manufactured.
