Abstract:
PURPOSE: To promote seal efficiency of a vertical joint by improving a backup material for holding sealant filled in the vertical joint from the rear side formed along the longitudinal direction between exterior wall boards having penetration holes.
CONSTITUTION: A joint gasket material A1 projecting lips 2, 3a and 3b to the ends of at least the rear side and front side in both sides of a gasket material main body 1 having width wider than that of a depth of penetration holes 21 bored in exterior wall boards P are formed. The joint gasket material A1 is inserted in a vertical joint between the exterior walls, and the other vertical joint is sealed from both front and rear sides of each of the exterior wall boards P by elastically connecting the lips 2, 3a and 3b to the interior wall surface of the vertical joint.
