Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the drop of a gasket by inserting a joint gasket protruded with multiple seal lips made of rubber or the like into a joint formed at the connection section of an outer wall, and providing a clip at the bottom section of the gasket.
CONSTITUTION: A joint gasket 30 preventing the infiltration of water into a building is inserted into a joint 20 formed at the connection section of the outer wall 10 of the building so that both end faces face each other. The joint gasket 30 is molded with rubber or a rubber-like elastic body, the upper end of the center pillar section 36 of an inverse T-shaped substrate is connected to the lower center of a cover portion 31 covering the opening of the joint 20, and multiple seal lips 33 are protruded. A clip 60 having a spring function is fitted to the bottom plate section 37 of the inverse T-shaped substrate of the joint gasket 30 at an interval, and an outer wall 10 is pressed by the clip 60. Very strong holding force to the joint 20 is exerted, and the drop of the gasket 30 can be prevented.
