Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which can improve amenity and can save energy by effectively stirring air in a room.
SOLUTION: A turbo fan to blow out air which is drawn from the front surface side, to the outside in the radial direction based on the axis, is arranged in a casing, and a heat-exchanger is arranged on the front surface side of the turbo fan in the casing. At air outlets 2-5 which blow out the blown out air from the turbo fan in the vertical direction and the lateral direction, an upper flap 8, a lower flap 9, a left flap 6 and a right flap 7, which can totally close respective air outlets, are openably attached. Then, in a heating operation, each time when hot air stays at an upper area in a room, the lower flap 9 is placed under a totally closed state for a specified period of time by a flap control unit, and at the same time, hot air is blown out from the upper air outlet by opening the upper flap 8.
