An opening 2 having a drooped edge 5 is formed on the upper part of a kettle body 1. A ring body is provided with a rising peripheral wall part, which is overlapped and hooked to the drooped edge 5, and a horizontal jaw part protruded from the opening 2 toward inside. The rising peripheral wall is overlapped and hooked to the drooped edge 5 to fasten the ring body 8 to the opening 2. The horizontal jaw part protrudes toward inside from the inner edge of the opening 2. And a peripheral jaw part for hooking 4A of a tea strainer body 4 is placed and hooked on the horizontal jaw part to engage into the opening 2 in suspending condition. And, a lid body 3 is closed and engaged into the opening 2 with the tea strainer body 4 engaged into the opening 2.
