Abstract:
To provide a key management system capable of registering and changing authentication information for collation for unlocking an electric lock, from a remote place.
The key management system comprises an IC card reader 5 for carrying out non-contact reading of authentication information registered in an IC card possessed by a person permitted to enter a room in a building, and an entry/leaving management device 3 for unlocking the electric lock of the room when the read authentication information is collated and coincident with the authentication information for collation on the room. The authentication information for collation registered in the entry/leaving management device 3 can be rewritten by a management device 1 in a remote place.
