Title:
VOLTAGE GENERATION CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3244377
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To control a rush current to a load to prevent breakdown of the power supply and peripheral devices and malfunction of a system by generating the reference voltage which gradually increases up to the predetermined voltage value when it is used as the power supply voltage and then supplying an output voltage following such a reference voltage to the load.
CONSTITUTION: The reference voltage SV which gradually increases up to an internally preset voltage value is generated by a gradient voltage generating means 11 using the power supply voltage Vcc and an output voltage TV following the reference voltage SV is generated by a voltage supplying means 12 and is then supplied to a load 13. Therefore, no high power supply voltage Vcc is momentarily supplied between the power supply 10 and load 13 but an output voltage TV which gradually increases can be supplied to the load 13. Thereby, generation of rush current to the load 13 can be controlled and breakdown of the power supply 10 and peripheral devices due to a rush current can be prevented and malfunction of the system can also be prevented.
