To provide a knockdown pedestal that, when assembled by engaging members made of hollow plates with each other, makes the engagement hard to come off, secures stability in the shape, and excels in waterproofness and durability as well.
The knockdown pedestal is made of hollow plates made from synthetic resin and capable of being raised on an installation surface. The pedestal includes: leg parts 10 formed by bending the hollow plates in a manner of making self-supporting attainable; and a top plate 20 engaged attachably/detachably with the upper surface of the leg parts 10 while the upper surface serves as a placing surface. The top plate 20 has at both ends a pendent piece 211 that is pendent toward the leg parts 10. The leg parts 10 have a projecting piece 131 formed in the horizontal ends and engaging holes that engage with the projecting piece 131 by bending both ends inward respectively. The engagement between the projecting piece 131 and the engaging hole keeps the leg parts 10 in shape in a manner capable of self-supporting. In the space S formed by the engagement and surrounded with wall faces extending vertically to the installation surface, the pendent piece 211 is fitted in, thus the pedestal is configured to be assembled.
