PURPOSE: To mold a pattern on the surface of an erect wall by horizontal placing, simplify a device, and mold various patterns.

CONSTITUTION: This L-type retaining wall is provided with a base wall l and an erect wall 2 erected from the base wall 1 and molded with a pattern on the surface. The erect wall 2 is divided into a surface plate 11 including the surface 11a and a support plate 21 separatably stuck to the surface plate 11, and a hook section 12 hooked on the upper end section 22 of the support plate 21 is integrally formed at the upper end section of the surface plate 11. The L-type retaining wall has a double structure of a decorative plate 10 constituted of the surface plate 11 and the hook section 12 and a foundation wall 20 constituted of the base wall 1 and the support plate 21. The decorative plate 10 and the foundation wall 20 are separately molded for molding the L-type retaining wall. Since the decorative plate 10 has the plate-like surface plate 11, a die horizontally provided with a die face molding the pattern of the surface plate 11 is used for molding the decorative plate 10 by the so-called horizontal placing.
