To provide a fluorescent lamp type LED (light emitting diode) lighting system having reduced noises.

The LED lighting system includes: a light emitting part 11 having one or more light emitting diodes; a pair of electrodes 12, 13; a peripheral circuit 14 for supplying electric power from the pair of electrodes 12, 13 to the light emitting part 11; a peripheral circuit board 15 having a main face and a reverse face, and having the peripheral circuit 14 arranged on the main face; first and second ferrite core parts 16, 17 having ferrite cores through which cables connecting the pair of electrodes 12, 13 to the peripheral circuit 14 pass, respectively; and a metal shield film 20 provided on the reverse face of the peripheral circuit board 15.
