Abstract:
To inspect the breakage, etc., of the label fitted to a container with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A first inspection position A through a fourth inspection position D are sequentially provided in the conveyance path of a container 3, with inspection mechanisms 5A-5D arranged at the respective inspection positions A-D. An infrared ray I and a white light W are simultaneously emitted toward the container 3 at each inspection position A-D, and the container 3 in that state is imaged by a color camera 6. As the infrared ray I is emitted, the liquid color a filling liquid 8 in the container 3 changes from the original color to a different liquid color when imaged by the color camera 6, and the container 3 in the state of the liquid color having been changed this way is imaged by the color camera 6. An image processing mechanism 7 determines, on the basis of the image of the container 3 by the color camera 6 of each inspection mechanism 5A-5D, that a label L has a breakage LX and is defective, when the label L portion of the container 3 exhibits the liquid color of the filling liquid 8 changed by the infrared ray I.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
