To obtain a label which can be timely produced at anytime by imparting information with an ink by a heat transfer method or the like and which has scratching resistance and durability against repetition of cleaning at laundry, and to provide a printing sheet to efficiently and easily form this label.

This label comprises a light-transmitting polymer sheet 1 having ≥200°C melting point and imparting information 11 with an ink on its back surface, and a color layer 2 containing a coloring agent and having >60% reflectance adhered to the back surface of the sheet 1, and an adhesive layer 3 comprising a hot-melt adhesive having ≤150°C melting point adhered to the layer 2. The printing sheet consists of the polymer sheet before the information with an ink is imparted, and a tightly laminated sheet comprising the color layer and the adhesive layer which is separated from the polymer sheet. Thereby, the information surface with an ink can be adhered and fixed with the color layer and the adhesive layer interposed to the adherend such as a cloth by using a proper heating means such as an iron in such a state that the information surface is protected by the polymer sheet. Thus, the obtd. label shows excellent scratching resistance, detergent resistance and durability and can be made thinner.
