Abstract:
To provide an agent for inhibiting the accumulation of lactic acid that causes chronic fatigue or the like.
The objective lactic acid accumulation inhibitor includes, as an active ingredient, the protein that is specified by the following properties: (a) this protein forms a single band in the unmodified polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of the protein in the royal jelly; (b) the molecular weight measured by the SDS-poly-acrylamide gel electrophoresis is about 57 kDa. In another embodiment, this lactic acid accumulation inhibitor includes the royal jelly containing the protein defined by the above-stated properties (a) and (b), in the same amount, preferably in an amount of ≥6 wt.% as an active ingredient.
