To provide base material which enables multi-color laser marking having high color development property.SOLUTION: A laminate 21 has at least two coloring layers 11A and 11B developing different colors from one another, each of at least the two coloring layers 11A and 11B contains a resin and a coloring agent, and a resin composition excluding the coloring agent in at least one layer out of at least the two coloring layers 11A and 11B has an absorption peak of a light transmittance spectrum in a wavelength region of 235 nm or more and 475 nm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
