PURPOSE: To manufacture the title compact winding device fit for massproduction by a method wherein a core holding mechanism is composed of intermittently rotated frame body and multiple core fixing spindles rotatably provided projectingly from the periphery of the frame body respectively provided with specific wire winding mechanism and a sheet winding mechanism.

CONSTITUTION: The barrel of a core 30 is alternately wound up with a conductive wire 31 and an insulating sheet 33 using a core holding mechanism, a wire winding mechanism 7 and a sheet winding mechanism 18 so as to form a laminated layer coil. In such a device, the core holding mechanism is composed of an intermittently rotated frame body 4 and multiple core fixing spindles 5 rotatably provided projecting-by from the periphery of the frame body 4. On the other hand, a wire winding mechanism 7 for winding the wire 31 around the terminal pf the core 30 in every one layer winding step is arranged in the position opposing to one of the spidles 5 while a sheet winding mechanism 18 is arranged in the position opposing to one of the other spindles 5.
