Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a laminated polyester film suitable for a base film for a magnetic recording medium.
CONSTITUTION: A polyester mainly composed of a polyethylene-2,6-naphthalate is used as an (A) layer. A polyester formed by containing a polyethylene terephthalate as a main component and fine particles is used as a (B) layer. A title film is formed by laminating the (B) layer on at least one surface of the (A) layer. The ratio of the thickness of the (A) layer to the total thickness is 50-95%.
