PURPOSE: To acquire required LAN management information which can be available from telephone terminals connected to public communication lines by providing a function connected the public communication lines as a means collecting LAN management information, voice access function, and an information transmission means by facsimile.

CONSTITUTION: The LAN management device is connected to the public communication line through a public communication line interface 27, enabling communication with other telephone terminal equipments. A code/image conversion compression device 30 enables the communication by facsimile. With a timer detecting device 29, various schedule communications can be enabled. Further, the LAN information is converted into voice by means of a voice conversion device 24, voice synthesis interface 25, and voice synthesizing device 26, transmitting it to the telephone terminal equipment connected to the public communication lines.
