Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of welding work and enhance the safety thereof by providing the necessary number of welding robots along with a workbench on large beams so that welding of large beam joints of ≥ two places can be performed at a time by one operator.
CONSTITUTION: The workbench 3 is mounted and fixed extending above large beams 2 at least in two directions joined to a steel-frame pillar 1. The welding robots 8 are arranged toward the steel-frame pillar 1 on the respective large beams inside the workbench. A robot controller 11 is mounted on the workbench and the robot controller 11 is connected to the respective welding robots 8. Welding of the large beam joints of ≥ two places is performed at a time by the respective welding robots 8.
