Abstract:
To secure a proper joint width of a weld metal without using a diffractive optical element (DOE) to perform welding which achieves high joint strength.SOLUTION: A laser arc hybrid welding device 1 includes: an arc welding device 3 configured to generate an arc between itself and a joint part of a base material 70; a laser radiation device 4 which is configured to scan a radiation position while radiating a laser beam to an area in front of a welding part welded by the arc welding device 3 in a welding progressing direction; and a control device 2 which controls a scan speed S of the laser radiation device 4. The control device 2 determines the scan speed S based on a first setting value set by a user and a second setting value set in advance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
