Abstract:
To provide a laser arc hybrid welding method in which an amount of heat is applied stably to a workpiece.SOLUTION: A targeting position At of arc discharge is offset to a first workpiece W1 side beyond a welding line Wt, when a first workpiece W1 denotes a workpiece whose surface is located on an arc wire side beyond a surface of a second workpiece W2, out of two workpieces W1 and W2 to be welded using laser arc hybrid welding. Therefore, a distance between an arc wire and the first workpiece W1 can still be kept shorter than a distance between the arc wire and the second workpiece W2, although the arc wire is relatively displaced from a second workpiece W2 side, and arc discharge can be maintained in a stable manner between the arc wire and the first workpiece W1. As a result thereof, an amount of heat can be stably applied to the first workpiece W1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
