Title:
LASER BEAM IRRADIATION PROBE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3188437
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of treatment such as skin care or depilation in which laser beams are irradiated on a wide range of skin.
SOLUTION: Ten spherical lenses 5 are arranged in row at regular intervals and are vertically arranged in a staggered fashion. Opening ends of hollow heat sinks 6 are opposed to the insides of the spherical lenses 5, respectively, and semiconductor laser diodes 7 are inserted and engaged into the insides thereof. The light axes of the semiconductor laser diodes 7 are matched with the light axes of the heat sinks 6. The semiconductor laser diodes 7 on upper and lower sloping faces (a) and (b) are inclined and arranged so that the light axes pass through two straight lines A and B. The light axes of the semiconductor laser diodes 7 on the sloping face (a) pass through the straight line A at the front thereof perpendicularly, and the light axes of the semiconductor laser diodes 7 on the sloping face (b) pass through the straight line B at the front thereof perpendicularly. Also, the semiconductor laser diodes 7 on the upper and lower sloping faces (a). and (b) are arranged in staggered fashion so that focuses (f) in the upper and lower rows can be positioned in the centers of the other focuses, respectively.
