A laser therapy device forming laser beams from a therapy laser beam source into a spot so as to guide and radiate the spot-shaped laser beams to an affected area is provided with a scanning means sequentially moving the laser beam spot position, a drive controlling means controlling drive of the scanning means for repeatedly stopping and moving the laser beams so as to irradiate each spot position with the laser beams for a predetermined time, and an emission controlling means stopping emission of laser beams while the laser beams are moved by means of the scanning means.
