Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lash adjuster capable of stably fixing a partition member within a plunger.SOLUTION: A peripheral wall 19 of a plunger 12 has an oil passage hole 26. A partition member 13 has an oil passage end 33 above the oil passage hole 26 with the partition member 13 inserted into the plunger 12. Between a bottom wall 18 of the plunger 12 and a body 11, a high pressure chamber 22 is sectioned. Inside the partition member 13 within the plunger 12, a low pressure chamber 23 is sectioned. Outside the partition member 13 within the plunger 12, an oil passage 40 is sectioned. In an inner peripheral face of the plunger 12, a recessed groove 31 is provided, and the oil passage 40 is arranged within the recessed groove 31 of the plunger 12.
