Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable hand-free telephone call without any operation of a car driver when a call signal from other telephone apparatus is inputted during traveling of the vehicle in a carphone capable of selecting hand-set call and the hand-free call.
CONSTITUTION: When a call signal is inputted from other telephone apparatus, whether or not a vehicle is traveling is judged (step 100). When the vehicle is traveling, a terminating sound, is generated for 3 seconds(step 110), and after the sound is informed, telephone call through hand-free telephone call is achieved(step 120-140). On the other hand in stopping the vehicle, the terminating sound is generated until a passenger in the vehicle selects the telephone call mode (step 150, 160), and when the telephone call mode is selected, the telephone call according to the selected telephone call mode is achieved (step 170-190) to enable operation similar to that of conventional apparatus.
