Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm safety and mechanism operation even in the night by mounting a signal detecting means on a latch metal. fitting, setting a lamp and a buzzer on a ladder body, and detecting the locking of a support beam onto a latch part by light and sound to ensure the latch.
SOLUTION: A support beam 16 of a second ladder T2 is latched and locked on the receiving part of a latch metal fitting 14 installed to the support beam 16 of a first ladder T1 by the upward movement of the second ladder T2 and a third ladder of a three-throw ladder. In this, case, the protruding piece 4a of an actuator 4 fixed to the latch metal fitting 14 makes contact with a microswitch 5 for a prescribed time or more by the pressing force of the support beam 16. A lamp 6 by a light emitting diode of confirmation signal is flashed for a fixed time by the action of a detection control part, and a buzzer is rung. When the replacing period of a battery by consumption comes, the lamp 6 by the light emitting diode is flashed for a fixed time to announce the signal of battery replacement by lighting. The announcement signal is cooperated with the confirmation signal. Thus, the sureness and precision of the mechanism and assembling function of the three-throw ladder can be provided.
