Abstract:
To provide a latch device improved in safety, usability, and quality.
In this latch device 1, a cover 9 is held at a predetermined position by a locking mechanism installed between a drawer 8 drawn from and stored into a casing 7 and the cover 9 rotatably supported on the front surface of the drawer. The latch device comprises a recognizing means 61 for recognizing that the stored state of the drawer 8 in the casing 7 is non-storable state or not and an automatic control mechanism 6 having a restriction means 63 for making the locking mechanism operable or inoperable in association with the recognizing means.
