To provide a laundry drying tool which can be easily and firmly attached from the side to a support member vertically extending such as a vertical frame part of a window frame, and on which small laundry such as a handkerchief can be dried in a stable state.

A support base 1 has a plurality of drying rods 2 provided on the outer peripheral part thereof so as to be foldable upward and radially project. The support base 1 is divided into one half part 1A and the other half part 1B having opposing surfaces formed as gripping surfaces for gripping a support member P. One ends of the half parts are pivotably connected to each other, and operating levers 4a and 4b are provided on their respective one end sides so as to project. The operating levers 4a and 4b are manipulated to open the opposing gripping surfaces against a spring force, and the laundry drying tool can be thereby attached to the support member P from the side. Furthermore, the gripping surfaces are formed to be vertically long so that the attachment to the support member P can be made stable, and this state is held by a lock member 22.
